Construction Site Manager - Energy Projects!

Earthstream is partnered closely with a global engineering company who are at the forefront of energy innovation, and who are looking for an established Construction Site Manager to join the team in Germany.

They are currently involved with very large and long term HV projects which will be ongoing for a few years across multiple locations across Germany.

The successful Construction Site Manager will drive all activities on the site to achieve contractual objectives, with full authority over subcontractors and other site personnel, and ensure that all personnel on the site are well informed about the Scope & Division of Work.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Directly communicating with the client on all matters.
  • Promoting proper understanding and compliance with HSE.
  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out to the expected quality.
  • Ensuring all activities are completed within the contractually agreed schedules and milestones.
  • Maintaining structured, up-to-date, and reliable documentation on site and ensure that work is carried out according to the latest approved processes, instructions, and guidelines.
Essential skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Certifications and training in health, environment, and safety - IOSH or NEBOSH preferred.
  • Strong experience as a construction manager on industrial construction projects with a high degree of complexity and responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts with typical terms and conditions.
  • Willingness to work on-site.
  • Fluent in German and English.
Desirable:

  • Experience with HV electrical/power projects or HVDC converter stations
