SENIOR IC APPLICATION ENGINEER (M/F/D)

Your mission

The role is part of the application engineering at EXTOLL. The application engineer executes tasks in the post-silicon qualification and validation programs around our chip IP solutions for high-speed data interfaces in advanced process nodes. A commitment to on-time delivery and a strong focus on design quality is the foundation of all we do.

• Conduct high-speed IP evaluation in test- and customer-chips to validate that product & quality requirements are met.
• Execute comprehensive post-silicon test plans of test chips 
• Maintain and improve the software and hardware aspects of our lab setups.
• Elaborate and work on application board specification documents.
• Work closely together with the IC design teams and cross-functional groups to support a successful and on-time validation process. 

Your profile

• B.S./M.S. degree on EE, Physics, Computer Engineering or related subject with emphasis on hardware design.
• A min. of 3 years work experience, including internships.
• Solid knowledge of electronic circuits and semiconductors
• Programming knowledge (e.g. C, Python) is an advantage.
• PCB design, hands-on lab and soldering experience are strong pluses.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving mentality.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
