(SENIOR) PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (M/F/D)

Your mission

We are looking for a highly dedicated Physical Design Engineer to join us in unleashing the Chiplet Age. You have basic or advanced skills and a desire to expand your knowledge and work with us hands-on.

• Support the full RTL2GDS2 implementation flow and physical design verification for EXTOLL’s state-of-the-art interface IP (Serdes / UCIe) and test chips
• Search for optimal solutions while porting our IP to new technology nodes / metal stacks and address occurring challenges
• Improve internal methodology by running trials with latest tools and tool enhancements and implement them in EXTOLL’s development flow
• Work with the analog design team for seamless integration in the digital design flow

Your profile

• Experience in physical implementation and basic knowledge of working with EDA tools from major vendors
• + 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Fundamentals of RTL-Design in Verilog or System Verilog
• Knowledge in modern CMOS technologies
• Scripting experience in TCL

We provide attractive salaries and additional benefits tailored to your performance, experience, and qualifications. The employment terms comply with the collective agreement for Information Technology employees, specific to employment group ST2 ( Kollektivvertrag ). You will receive your monthly salary 14 times a year. Depending on your expertise and skills, higher compensation is also available.
